BABY CORNER special service

This Baby Zone, in the Villages main restaurant, offers a special service for babies, with sweet and savoury baby foods and all the equipment for preparing your babys meals.

Cruise on the Aristocat (1 day)

“Discover new cultures” Resort. In the distance, the slopes of the Batur volcano with its terraced paddy fields. At your feet, beautifully clear waters and fine sandy beaches. In the Sunda archipelago, the Club Med’s Bali Resort is proud to show off its brand new face. Beside the swimming pool, Marc Hertrich has designed a beautifully contemporary lounge bar. The Spa*’s stylish environment and treatment rooms have been refurbished with the elegant inspiration of Balinese architecture, a haven of serenity in a tranquil green paradise. The Resort’s new restaurants offer the promise of idyllic moments under the shade of an exotic pergola.

Beach

About 150 yards from the Resort, the public beach is about 500 yards long, and has a defined swimming area. The upper part of the beach is fine yellow sand, while the lower part, visible when the tide goes out, is scattered with rocks. Swimming is recommended while the tide is coming in, as the reef is completely exposed at low tide.

The beach lies between natural stone breakwaters, which protect the beaches from the waves and currents. Waves only come over the breakwaters during the spring tides or storms. The reef (200 yards) just opposite the Club Med Resort has a surfing spot (Matahari Break) with superb left-break waves for surf lovers. The beach is equipped with showers, deckchairs and bamboo parasols. There are also bales (small Indonesian-style shelters) with cushions.

Parks and Gardens

Bougainvillea, hibiscus and imposing tropical trees such as banyans, traveller’s trees and frangipani make up the lush natural decor of these 10 hectares of gardens. Numerous ornamental lakes, lilies and lotus flowers add a suitably exotic note.
