La Hacienda

In the centre of the Resort, this large restaurant welcomes you in one of its 5 dining rooms or on its beautiful terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The inside of each dining area has been designed along the lines of a colonial hacienda, with a library, kitchen, dining and sitting room. The buffet serves international cuisine and typical Mexican dishes. The restaurant terrace is a smoking area but the indoor dining area is non-smoking. List of equipment :

This restaurant is built in the local style, on stilts, and has a magnificent view over the ocean. During the day, the buffet serves local specialities. In the heart of the tropical forest, time seems to stand still at Boca del Puma. Well go by mountain bike to the village of Chicleros and walk in the jungle to discover its secrets. Well stop for a swim in a cenote, a natural freshwater pool. For information:

  • Chichen Itza (1 day)

    Discover one of the most famous archeological sites in the world, recognised by UNESCO, with the Kukulkan Pyramid, the Pok ta Pok court, the Group of a thousand pillars and the Observatory. After lunch, well stop at the charming colonial town of Valladolid. For your information:

    Coba and Tulum (1 day)

    We invite you to discover Coba, an extraordinary Mayan site in the heart of the jungle, with the highest pyramid in Yucatan, Nohochmul. After lunch youll spend an hour visiting Tulum, the only coastal Mayan site. For your information:

    Eco Coba (eco-tourism excursion) (1 day)

    This bicycle excursion will allow you to visit the very extensive site of Coba, and discover its most secret treasures hidden deep within the jungle. Swim in a natural decor of stalactites at the Cho-Ha Cenote. For your information: Cultural excursion

    EkBalam (1 day)

    One of the latest archaeological finds recently opened to the public. EkBalam offers some of the most sophisticated sculptures in the region at its Acropolis palace. Lunch is followed by a visit to the Ik Kilcenote. For your information:

    El Meco (1/2 day)

    El Meco, a town in Mujeres Bay to the north of Cancun dating back to the post-classical period, played a major role in relations with Isla Mujeres. It was the starting point for boats leaving for the island, and an essential landmark for coastal navigation, even at night, and for navigation in the lagoons.

    El Meco was a fishing village with influential trading relations with Coba and Chichen Itza. The site has 14 different structures grouped together in a small area, including the main temple, in good condition. Located between Puerto Juarez (where ferries depart for Isla Mujeres) and Punta Sam, the site has only recently been opened to the public. The visit lasts a maximum of one hour, and the excursion begins by crossing the city of Cancun. This is the ideal site for introducing the whole family to Mayan culture, as theres plenty of shade from the sun, much-appreciated when visiting with children. Transport in an air-conditioned bus, with a bilingual French-English guide.

    Islas Mujeres by catamaran (1 day)

    Visit Islas Mujeres (the island of women) by catamaran, and enjoy some time for snorkeling in the clear turquoise waters on the way. Free time on the island to explore its lively narrow streets, before lunch in a charming beachside restaurant. Cultural and sports excursion

    Playa del Carmen (1/2 day)

    Spend an afternoon strolling around this pleasant sea resort on the Mayan Riviera, with its little shops, cafés and traditional restaurants lining the main road. For your information:

    Swim with the dolphins

Beach

Between the sea and the lagoon there are two public beaches.

The first is a 300 yard stretch of white sand running alongside Cancun Bay. No sports activities on this beach.
The beach is equipped with showers, deckchairs and parasols.

The second beach, to the east of the Resort, stretches nearly 500 yards alongside the open sea. The seabed consists of sand, rocks and a coral reef. The beach is equipped with showers, deckchairs and parasols.

Parks & Gardens

The gardens are typical of the vegetation native to Yucatan, with agaves, hibiscus, cactus, flamboyant trees and royal palms. Ornamental lakes and adjustable lighting add the final touch to this charming environment.
