BABY CORNER special service

This Baby Zone, located in the general buffet restaurant, offers a special service for babies, with sweet and savoury baby foods and all the equipment necessary for preparing your babys meals.

Scuba-diving (Optional Extra*)

Scuba-diving centre Aqua Sport

5 minutes from Club Med (transfer included). Great diversity of sites. Extaordinarily rich flora and fauna, often with spectacular corals. Huge shoals of multicoloured reef fish, including the famous clown fish, turtles, moray eels and reef sharks.

Wellness Centre

Discover a whole range of ethnic, innovative or more traditional massages**. Relax in the expert hands of our expert massage therapists, who will stimulate specific energy points and relax your muscles. The Massage area** has three treatment rooms. **For information: The term "massage" implies a superficial manipulation of the face or body, solely for aesthetic purposes, sometimes to ensure good penetration of a cosmetic product, or for comfort. The massage referred to is an external massage of the skin, with no medical or therapeutic aim. It may be done manually or with mechanical aids, exclusively by qualified, trained professionals.

Juniors' Club Med® (from 11 to under 18)

Freedom and fun for teenagers. Proposed during the school holidays, it's a Club Med classic, with youngsters divided into 2 different age groups. The Club Med offers everything but imposes nothing. A free and exclusive spirit that youngsters adore. The Juniors' Club Med® enables teenagers to meet and take part in activities of their choice; in their own individual way, they get involved in life at the Resort.

Mini Club Med® (from 4 to under 11)

Included in your package

Creativity and energy. At this age, children have a thirst for everything. The Mini Club Med®’s vocation is to satisfy their boundless energy and curiosity. Activities include sport, games and creative activities. Children are divided into age groups. One-hour shower break before dinner.

Petit Club Med® (from 2 to 3 under)

Optional Extra*

At this age, they're no longer babies, but they still need close supervision It's the age of first discoveries, so the Petit Club Med proposes stimulating activities, walks and outdoor games; a well-balanced lunch devised specially for the needs of growing children followed by a nap or quiet time, creative activities, and of course tea time, always a favourite moment of the day! The activities follow the children's progress, divided into age groups. From 7.30 pm, after dinner with their parents, they go back to the Petit Club Med®. While parents enjoy a quiet dinner, the children can enjoy their own evening with their friends. For information: Nappies and baby milk are not provided at the Petit Club Med®.

BABY CARE ROOM

Open 24 hours a day, here you will find the utensils necessary to prepare babies' meals: mixer, steriliser (only available on request), microwave oven, refrigerator, bottle warmer (always available in rooms for G.M.s ® who have reserved the Baby Club Med® or Club Med Baby Welcome® services) and additional products such as mineral water, fruit, dairy products, biscuits, etc.

BABY ZONE

This Baby Zone, located in the general buffet restaurant, offers a special service for babies, with sweet and savoury baby foods and all the equipment necessary for preparing your baby's meals.

We’ve done everything in our power to ensure the comfort and well-being of parents and babies. Personal welcome, baby-care material available in your room and/or in the baby care room (baby bed, changing mat, baby bath, high chair on request, bottle-warmer), sweet and savoury baby foods, Baby Zone equipped to prepare babies' meals, high chairs and/or booster cushions in the restaurant.

PLAYGROUND

The playgrounds are near the children's swimming pool, and independent from the children's club facilities. They can be used by all young children, accompanied by their parents.

Discovery

Avdat, the Nabatean city in the Negev desert (1 day)

Founded in the 4th century BC by the Nabateans, Avdat is the largest city on the Spice Route. The main route taken by the Nabatean caravans crossed the desert of the Arabian peninsula to the port of Gaza, via Petra and Avdat.

Combined excursions - Coral Beach

For those who want to be sure not to miss the excursions, we propose a Combined excursions package with 2 outings (dates will be given at your arrival at the Resort, and cannot be interchanged):

Ein Gedi waterfalls and the Dead Sea (1 day)

Excursion that focuses on the well-being of body and mind in the gentle waters of the King David waterfall and the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea. After crossing the Negev to reach the desert of Judea we enter the nature reserve of Ein Gedi, where you can bathe under the various waterfalls, and then walk through the rare beauty of this biblical oasis. After a wonderful meal, well enjoy the Ein Gedi spa (the lowest point on earth) where we can relax by and bathe in the Dead Sea, take a mineral mud bath, and bathe in the sulphur pool.

Jerusalem (1 day)

Recommended by our Excursions desk. This city is a crossroads for the three main religions and a tower of spiritual strength. Fought over for thousands of years, it embodies sadness and joy, love and passion. Many civilizations have left their mark here: more than just a city, youll feel a sensation of inner peace unlike anywhere else in the world. We will visit the sites that have marked the history of Jerusalem.

Massada and the Dead Sea (1 day)

Recommended by our Excursions desk. Massada, the palace and fortress of King Herod, is one of Israels most significant archaeological and historical sites. We reach the top by cable-car to enjoy an extraordinary panorama, then explore the ruins of this fabulous palace and relive the incredible history of the last Jewish resistants to Roman oppression. After lunch and a visit to the botanical gardens at the Ein Gedi kibbutz, we go down to the Dead Sea spa for a mineral mud bath, a swim in the sulphur pool and of course in the Dead Sea itself. Return to Eilat in the evening.

Petra - Jordan (1 day)

Recommended by our Excursions desk. One of the wonders of the world. Petra is famous for its breathtaking beauty and fascinating history. Explore the most stunning sites of Petra***, the myths, the legends and the reality of the rose-red city. A journey through time that is as colourful as the sandstone rock from which it was sculpted.*** UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Safari Tour at sunset (1/2 day)

The famous sunset safari! After travelling through the finest landscapes of the Eilat desert to discover the deserts of Sinai and Negev, we reach the culminating point of the mountains for a magnificent panoramic view over the Bay of Eilat and its frontiers (Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia) to watch the marvellous spectacle of the shimmering colours of sunset. We go down into the Ein Netafim ravine (watering hole) to encounter the animals of the desert, discover marine fossils and enjoy a traditional herbal tea.

Timna Park: King Solomons pillars (1/2 day)

An outing for all the family recommended by our Excursions desk. Timna is one of the most extraordinary sites of Neguev near Eilat. After crossing the mountains aboard a 4x4 vehicle, youll discover an amazing geological environment with magnificent natural shapes and colours. Well step inside the ancient copper mines from the age of the Pharaohs in the 6th century BC, see the engravings in the rocks and the mushroom formation of the wonderful pillars of King Solomon. Well enjoy a moment to unwind beside a lake for tea or coffee, before filling lots of little bottles with multi-coloured sand. A historic and fun adventure, Indiana Jones style.

Wadi Rum (1 day)

We enter the Kingdom of Jordan at the Arava border crossing, where experienced Bedouin drivers wait to drive us in Jeeps through the red sand dunes to Wadi Rum, a legendary site of almost supernatural beauty famous for its eroded sandstone mountains and pillars. We visit the spring at Haz Ali and the Hanging Arch, before pursuing our drive on beautiful and little-used tracks along the Saudi Arabian border.

Yamidbar and the Underwater Observatory park (1/2 day)

Come and discover the beauty of the Eilat desert, the multi-coloured valley of Solomon, before returning to the Red Sea Park to admire the flora and fauna.

Yotbata Kibbutz and the animal reserve (1 day)

An outing for all the family recommended by our Excursions desk. For lovers of nature and exploration, a photo safari aboard a 4x4 across the steppe and the desert of Neguev. An encounter with the regions flora and fauna (migratory birds, gazelles, etc) roaming free. We continue the outing in the wild game reserve of Hai-Bar to get a true close-up of the life of desert animals in the wild (ostriches, addax, oryx, oniganes, foxes, etc).
