Our chef and his team offer top quality service, a memorable gastronomic experience and a feast for the eyes. For example:

Le Panorama

Awarded "Table Coup de Coeur" status. This restaurant in the Hotel Acropole has been partially refurbished and redecorated. Try its delicious Mediterranean "assiettes gourmandes", in the evening. Open for breakfast and certain evenings, booking compulsory, at Reception. The terrace is a smoking area. List of equipment :

Les Pleiades

Awarded "Table Coup de Coeur" status. This restaurants new decor plays on a combination of styles, between inside and out. On the terrace, in the shade of a pergola or in the elegant interior, discover international cuisine served at the buffet. An exceptional location, in the shade of the pine woods and right by the sea. The terrace is a smoking area. List of equipment :

Bars:

Available all day and evening (during bar opening hours) in all the bars in the Resort (including the nightclub). The Aphrodite

In the heart of the Resort, with spacious terraces overlooking the bay, this bar has a brand new look. In the evening, its new open air dance floor is a great place to enjoy the Greek climate and sip cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere. Theres also an outdoor lounge with curtains and huge sofas with a spectacular view over the swimming pool and sea.

Club Med Champions Academy Included in your package

Club Med Champions Academy® offers children 3-day courses. Your children will discover through play and various situations the technical foundations of various activities selected. Following a period of training, they will participate in games and exercises which will help them assimilate what they have learnt. In Gregolimano, the Club Med Champions Academy® offers children of 8 years and over: - Circus school - Waterskiing: in partnership with the French Federation of Waterskiing, children will have the opportunity to take Petits Princes tests.

Mini Club Med: creativity and energy for 4 to 10 years - Juniors' Club Med: independence and party spirit for 11 to 17 years. From 4 to 10 years, the children have a thirst for everything, Mini Club Med has planned everything to meet these needs. Juniors' Club Med is a way for young people from 11 to 17 years to meet friends, take part in their favourite activities and join in the Club Med Village life.

Create and let off steam. At this age, children have a thirst for everything... The Mini Club Med® has planned everything to respond to this need of discovery in all directions. Sport, fun and creative activities. Children are distributed into sub-groups according to their age. One hour shower stop before dinner.

Juniors' Club Med® (from 11 to less than 18 years) Included in your package

It is a great classic of the Club Med for teenagers, in which they are distributed into 2 age groups. Teenagers, independence and parties. Club Med offers everything but imposes nothing. A true state of mind, both free and exclusive, which thrills the young. The Juniors' Club Med® enables teenagers to meet among themselves and participate in activities of their choice while taking part in the life of the Village. Offered only during school holidays, six days a week. Service is included in package price.

Athenorama (1 day)

Athens: birthplace of democracy and philosophy, its conception of beauty and good has long influenced the rest of the world.

Discover at your own pace this city of contrasts, whose eternal monuments stand on the sacred "rock" of the Acropolis and rub shoulders with the modern neighbourhoods that lie at their feet. You ca, visit a number of museums, walk through the hustle and bustle of the streets or do some shopping: your time is your own. Lunch not included. For your information:

Athens (1 day)

The birthplace of European culture where mythology is intimately linked with history, Athens** illustrates civilisations, myths and religions that blossomed in Greece for over a thousand years. Mythology has it that the city was founded by Cecrops, its first king, a being with the body of a serpent. Discover the past and present history of this eternal city through a panoramic tour. Admire the sacred hill of the Acropolis, the most significant ancient site of the Western world. Crowned by the Parthenon, the largest marble temple ever built in Greece, it sheltered the immense statue of Athena Parthenos. After lunch at the foot of the Acropolis, stroll along the narrow cobblestoned streets of the Plaka quarter, the commercial centre of Monastiraki or the elegant quarter of Kolonaki. ** UNESCO World Heritage site For your information:

Boat ride and mountain-bike ride (1/2 day)

Between its macadam roads and network of sandy trails suspended between the crystal clear sea and the mountains, the Island of Eubeau is a paradise of splendid landscapes. The motot boat takes you along the wild coast to the beach at Faros, where you'll depart for the mountain bike ride. Pedal along the coast between pines and blue sea. Along the cycle tracks through the shady forest and along the coastal track between pines and fragrant oleander to Cavos, where you'll board the boat that takes you back to the Resort.

Boat trip and snorkelling (1/2 day)

Let the water carry and soothe you as you discover the wonderful sensations of well-being that snorkelling brings, and explore the underwater life in the crystal clear waters of the gulf of the Island of Eubeaa. A motor boat will take you along the eastern coast of central Greece to Lihadonesia, the site of an underwater wreck and a marine park where you can observe numerous species such as the Mediterranean seal. Near the island of Stroggili the light filters through the waters producing unusual colour effects. Sunbathing and snorkelling for a perfect half day's excursion.

Delphi (1 day)

The Ancient Greeks chose this site as "the navel of the world": legend has it that two eagles left from the ends of the earth to reach the centre and met here. Perched like an eagle's nest above a ravine, Delphi** reached its peak in the 4th century BC when pilgrims consulted its oracle, reputed to express the words of Apollo. The colossal Temple of Apollo harboured philosophical maxims such as: "Know yourself..." Admire the gracious rotunda of the sanctuary of Athena, the city's most remarkable monument, and the treasures in the splendid museum. ** UNESCO World Heritage site. For your information:

Helicopter ride

Fly over the island of of Eubea and transfer to Athens by helicopter. Just off the Greek mainland (Attica and Beotia), the island of Eubea offers a fascinating panorama from the sky. The only way to fully appreciate the splendour of these little villages that cling to the mountainsides, and the superb beaches (among the most beautiful in the whole of Greece), is from a helicopter. Fly over huge olive groves, mountains swathed in mystery and crystal clear waters, and on to Athens airport where you'll be taken by private car to the gate from which your international flight departs. Cascading emotions for an unforgettable experience during this half-hour flight over the magnificent landscapes of the north of Eubea Island and part of the continent.

Lihadonesia (1/2 day)

The second largest island after Crete, the wild coastline of Eubea is a treasure trove just waiting to be explored. The boat takes you through the Gulf of Eubea, opposite Beotia and the Attic coast, to the fishing village of St Georges. You'll have time to stroll through this typical village and meet the friendly islanders before the boat takes you through the sparkling and delicately coloured waters to Lihadonesia, home to some fabulous legends. Swimming and refreshments, served on an idyllic beach. For your information:

Skiathos (1 day)

A beautifully verdant environment with lush forest, the blue and green island of Skiathos has just one village. One of the rare Greek islands that has never changed names, Skiathos is the smallest but also the most cosmopolitan of the Sporadic islands. With its magnificent golden beaches (reputed to be among the finest in Greece) and lush pine forest, it is a true paradise island. You can stroll along the coastline covered with fragrant pine trees, shop in the narrow streets of the old town or simply swim and relax on one of the island's numerous beaches, for an unforgettable day. The Meteora (1 day)

"Suspended in the air", seems the only way to describe these monasteries perched on the top of celestial mountains, a unique natural phenomenon. At the western tip of the plain of Thessalia, you suddenly enter an incredible world of mineral chaos. A majestic landscape of 24 rocky peaks like fingers pointing skyward, the Meteora* monasteries defy time. History seems to look down from these summits, where Byzantine monks took refuge 600 years ago, seeking solitude in proximity with the gods. * UNESCO World Heritage site. For your information

Thermes Sylla Spa

In Greek mythology, the goddess Athena is said to have demanded that the waters at Aedipsos have healing powers, in order to restore Herakles' strength after combat. Renowned from the 4th century for its themal spa waters that rise from a depth of 3,000 metres, Aedipsos is a charming town with an abundance of rivers, underground waters naturally rich in minerals and trace elements, and clay soil with extraordinary miscroscopic flora. We propose a whole programme of treatments, dispensed in the historic Art Nouveau thermal spa at Sylla.

Transport package

If you choose a Transport with stay package, the price includes the return air fare and transfers to and from the Resort.

Getting to the Resort

For clients who have not bought the transport package. Airport / Resort, transfer by hire car. There are no car hire companies at the Resort, but Avis has offices at Edipsos, around 25 kms (15 miles) away. * Airport / Resort, transfer by taxi and ferry or boat. 2 possibilities :

• Take a taxi from Athens airport to the port of Arkista, around 150 kms (93 miles) away (around 2 hours 30 minutes). The ferry crossing takes around 45 minutes. From the port of Eidipsos, allow around 25 minutes by taxi to the Resort (from the ferry, take the first road on the left and follow signs to Agios Nikolaos, then straight on to the Resort).
• Take a taxi from Athens airport to the port of St Constantin, around 170 kms (105 miles), takes about 2 h 45 minutes) Ferry crossing takes around 40 minutes, taxi boat takes 15 minutes. From the port of St George, allow about 5 minutes by taxi to the Resort (from the ferry follow signs to Eidipsos).

N.B: When the sea is too rough, or for flights arriving at Athens after 8 pm, transfer by road only (no boats between midnight and 6 am). Transfer by taxi takes around 3 and a half to 4 hours.* Port / Port, transfer by ferry or boat There are 2 possible routes to the Resort.

• By ferry from the port of Arkitsa
• By boat or taxi boat from the port of St Constantine

From the port of Arkitsa

Around 150 kms from Athens in the direction of Lamia. The ferry crossing takes around 45 minutes. Arrival at the port of Edipsos. Then allow a 25-minutes drive to Gregolimano. From the ferry, take the first road on the left and follow signs to Agios Nikolaos. Then go straight on until you reach the Resort.

From the port of St Constantine

Around 170 kms (105 miles) from Athens in the direction of Lamia. The ferry crossing takes 40 minutes. Arrival at the port of Saint George. Then allow a 5-minute drive to Gregolimano. (direction Edipsos).*

"Enjoy your passion for sports" Resort

“Enjoy your passion for sports” Resort. The white sandy headland of Gregolimano, on the island of Evia, juts out defiantly into the blue waters of the Aegean, across from the mountains. In this idyllic Resort for sport-loving families, Jean-Philippe Nuel has given the architecture a new contemporary spirit. The Deluxe Bungalows in the pine forest with a magnificent sea view have a new look, adorned with wood and sandstone. The traditional Greek blue and white have been enhanced with a dash of vivid tones, to perfect the Resort’s bright new ambience.

Beach

This is a public beach of fine sand which stretches for 2 kms (1.25 miles). One part is flanked by the bungalows and the other runs alongside a pine forest. The sea is clear and the coast is peppered with a few rocks. Defined bathing area. The beach is equipped with showers, deckchairs and parasols.

Parks and Gardens

The grounds consists of a natural pinewood of nearly 3,000 Mediterranean pines, and plenty of olive trees. Adjustable lighting effects enhance this superb landscape.
