El Encanto

Entirely refurbished, this restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 5 air-conditioned lounges propose 5 different themes: the mirror room, the mask room, the indoor garden, the aquarium and thestar-gazing lounge. A spacious terrace looking onto the sea, with white columns and orange trees, completes the picture. Our staff offer a selection of low-calory dishes daily. The terrace is a smoking area. Le Luna Azul

This excentrically colourful Mexican-style restaurant serves creative and inventive cuisine in a lush green environment. Looking onto the beach and coconut palms, it serves dinner only, with waiter service. Booking compulsory. After dinner, you can prolong your evening in the bar.

Le Miramar

Grilled meat dishes are the speciality of this restaurant. Open for late breakfast and outside the opening hours of the other restaurants. Serves dinner à la carte, in the spirit of an Argentine steakhouse. Its spacious terrace with panoramic sea view is a great place to relax.

Le Sirena

The kiddies restaurant, inside the Mini Club Med! Children aged 2 to 10 have a real restaurant just for them. On the menu: balanced meals, activities at certain times of day, and jealous parents!

BABY CORNER special service

This Baby Zone, located in the general buffet restaurant, proposes meals for children (sweet and savoury baby food, and all the utensils necessary for preparing babies meals).

Bars:

Available all day and evening (during bar opening hours) in all the bars in the Resort (including the nightclub). Drinks included(served by the glass and in the bars only) : Water, fruit juices, sodas, hot drinks, cocktails with and without alcohol, local and/or international spirits, wines. Snorkelling and Catamaran adventure. Leave from Puerto Mio Marina at Zihuatanejo. Snorkelling equipment, drinks and lunch on board are all included.

Adventuremania at Parc Aventura (1/2 day)

Two hours of exciting adventure in a tropical environment.

Crayfish lunch on Ixtapa Island (1/2 day)

This excursion gives you the chance to taste a real culinary treat: a delicious crayfish lunch.

Delfiniti kids (dolphins)

Special childrens excursion, to teach them all about the skills and characteristics of this astonishing mammal. Accompanied by an adult, for 20 minutes the children can swim in a pool with the dolophins, touch, stroke and even kiss them!

Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo, visit and shopping (1/2 day)

Guided tour of Ixtapa Marina and the colonial town of Zihuatanejo, a unique opportunity to do your shopping on the local markets. Enjoy the magnificent panoramic views over the exotic landscapes of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo.

Local culture discovery (1/2 day)

Explore, taste and listen to the real Mexico. Taste cocounut milk in a coconut plantation. Make your own Mexican bread and "Mexican tiles". Learn the history of the state of Guerrero, and escape from daily reality on this totally fascinating visit, ideal for families. For your information :

Dearture from Puerto Mio Marina, at Zihuatanejo, in the afternoon. Return early evening. Drinks and hors doeuvres served on board.

Meet the dolphins (for babies)

A unique opportunity for your child to meet the dolphins, for 10 minutes, on a platform specially designed for this unforgettable experience!

Pre-Hispanic tour (1/2 day)

Visit to a pre-hispanic archeological site. Visit Soledad de Maciel, better known as La Chole, in an arid, rocky region on the Pacific Coast, south-east of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. Youll discover figurines hewn out of the rocks, buildings half-hidden in the mountainside, and numerous artefacts. The Toltec Museum will introduce you to Toltec civilisation, and the history of this nation of traders, warriors, and master builders, before Aztec civilisation reached its height. The Toltecs influenced many peoples in different regions of Mesoamerica. Their influence can be seen particularly in architectural columns, a form of rounded headdress, and human sacrifice.

Swim with the dolphins (à la carte)

A 45-minute session to learn about dolphins. You can also swim and play with them! For adults and children.

The city of Morelia (1 day)

Located in the Guayangareo Valley amid the Punhuato and Quinceo mountains, Morelia is the capital of the Mexican state of Michoacán de Ocampo. Its historic city centre is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to its beautiful colonial buildings and churches. The city centre comprises some 150 blocks that made up the urban centre of Morelia at the end of the 18th century, and houses around 1,000 historic buildings and sites. The Baroque cathedral is one of the city’s main attractions. La Casa Del Arte is also well worth a visit to see its fine array of beautiful craftwork, as is the Morelos museum. The city has a number of other fine churches, including the Temple of la Rosas, an annexe of the las Rosas Academy of Music, both fine examples of Baroque architecture. The Temple of San Diego, better known as the Sanctuary of Guadalupe, is yet another Baroque building and a fine example of Mexican techniques and colours. The monumental aqueduct, built during the colonial period to supply the city with water, was still working in 1910. The inner city is built of reddish sandstone, making Morelia unique among Mexicos major colonial cities, and explaining why the city is sometimes called Ciudad de las Canteras Rosas.

Have a taste of everything Resort. The Resort of Ixtapa Pacific is set against the Sierra Madre Mountains, stretching alongside a vast sandy beach in lush tropical grounds. After a total facelift, the Resort’s elegant 1940s hacienda-style architecture boasts beautifully renovated arches, colonnades and pergolas.After visiting the indoor garden and the Salon des Astres (stargazing lounge), parents can indulge in their favourite sports or visit the nearby fishing village of Zihuatanejo*, while children make the most of the dedicated areas and facilities devised especially for them.

A public beach of fine, darkish sand stretches for 800 yards alongside the Resort. There are no lifeguards, but there is a defined swimming area. Equipped with showers, deckchairs, hammocks and beach beds.
