Delicious, creative cuisine and impeccable table art. Our chefs pull out all the stops to ensure you have a fabulous and entertaining meal. This Resort has "Table Coup de Coeur" status, awarded to the Club Meds best restaurants. Our chef and his team offer top quality service, a memorable gastronomic experience and a feast for the eyes.

La Distillerie

Awarded "Table Coup de Coeur" status. Located close to the swimming pool, this restaurant welcomes you for all your meals. Choose from the open air terrace, the covered terrace or the first-floor dining area with its magnificent view over the sea and the lagoon alongside the Resort.

This is a no-smoking area.

Le Phare

Awarded "Table Coup de Coeur" status. This restaurant of local specialities is in a heavenly setting a few yards from the sea. Enjoy the subtle and exotic flavours of local cuisine, typically Asian, with the delicate flavours of vanilla and curry. Tables must be booked, at Reception. The restaurant is a non-smoking area.

Bars:

Available all day and evening (during bar opening hours) in all the bars in the Resort (including the nightclub).

L'Alouda

Ideally situated, this bar is a great place to relax, in an intimate setting. In the early evening, the lighting on the lagoon adds a delightful touch to the setting.

Le Banian

Located alongside the swimming pool and the buffet restaurant, this bar welcomes you in a relaxed and refined atmosphere.

Cigar humidor (at extra cost). Smoking is permitted on the terrace only.

The epitome of refinement. Sports and leisure activities in a laid-back ambience.

Golf (Included in your package)

In the heart of the Resort, a practice net with 14 covered bays. Group lessons for all levels.

Scuba-diving (Optional Extra*)

Service provided by Eurodivers. Boat trips from the Resort. Very rich sea bed with exceptional corals in some of the sites, dives for all levels, depth is not restricted to 30 metres (100 ft) as at other Indian Ocean resorts. Turquoise waters, very varied lagoons containing gorges, precipices, wrecks, caves and canyons. Mauritian waters are host to exceptional flora and fauna with huge stretches of staghorn coral, some 600 species of fish, many of which are considered to be rare, and some are endemic.

Examples of diving spots:

• The Cathedral, 15 minutes by speed boat. Seabed at 18 to 28 metres (60-65 ft). Remarkable coral formation, and cave to explore, with shrimps galore. Other species youre likely to observe are moray eels, squirrelfish, red lion fish, soldier fish and all manner of pelagic fish.
• Tug II wreck 10 minutes by speed boat. Sea bed at 18 metres (60 ft). This tug, which was sunk specially for divers use, lies at a depth of 20 metres (65 ft). Many big eye fish or fanal fish swim round the boat. A colony of red lion fish also lives in the vicinity
• Passe Saint Jacques, 1 hour by speed boat. Sea bed at 25 metres (82 ft). Drift dive starting inside the chenal, and ending outside, towards the ocean. You should see lots of pelagic fish, such as grey sharks, bull sharks, rays, barracudas, trevallies, moray eels, etc.

Club Med Passworld, a new exclusive concept dedicated to young people aged between 11 and 17 years to discover creative, sports, artistic activities, or simply for the pleasure of doing nothing... Aside trusted G.O.s ®, they are free to pursue their passions!

Club Med Baby Welcome® (from 0 to 23 months) Included in your package

The little darlings feel right at home thanks to this service, included in your Package. Everything has been thought of as concerns the babies' comfort and the parents' well-being.

Petit Club Med® (2 to less than 4 years) OPTIONAL EXTRA*

At this age, we are no longer a baby, but we still need to be closely monitored. It’s the time for those first discoveries: the leisure of waking, walking and outdoor play, a full and balanced breakfast (especially designed for the needs of the young), a nap or quiet time, creative activities and of course, snack time, a true feast for those with a sweet tooth! The activities follow the progress of children, distributed into age groups. From 7.30 pm, after dinner with parents, children return to the Petit Club Med®. While the parents have a peaceful dinner, the young ones finish their day with a calm evening. For your information: Nappies and baby milk are not provided at the Petit Club Med®.

Mini Club Med® (from 4 to less than 11 years) Included in your package

Create and let off steam. At this age, children have a thirst for everything... The Mini Club Med® has planned everything to respond to this need of discovery in all directions. Sport, fun and creative activities. Children are distributed into sub-groups according to their age. One hour shower stop before dinner.

Club Med Passworld® (from 11 months to 18 years) Included in your package

The Club Med Passworld® proposes everything but imposes nothing; an approach that delights teenagers. It provides them with an exclusive area dedicated to meeting others and expressing oneself not far from the centre of the Village. The exclusive area in this Village is Il Cabaret. Here the teenagers can discover creative, sport and artistic activities, have fun or turn up for the pleasure of just hanging out.. The area has two faces... Inspired by an exotic garden featuring giant waterlilies, it is a setting for lazy pleasure during the day which is transformed in the evening into a forbidden garden. Each waterlily is dedicated to one of the seven deadly sins: Bluff (covetousness) with its gaming table, Sloth with its giant couch, Lust with its secret shrubbery, Vanity with its dressing rooms, etc. The teenagers are divided into two age-groups.

Benitiers Island (1 day)

On board a speedboat, discover the south coast, swimming and snorkelling; laze in the sun after a crayfish lunch on board. You may be lucky enough to spot the dolphins in Tamarin Bay during this unforettable trip! For information

Deer Island and the Blue Bay Marine Park (1 day)

On board a glass bottom boat, visit the most beautiful marine park of Mauritius. Port Louis by bus (half-day)

Visit the Pamplemousse botanical garden with its centuries-old trees and rare species before heading back to the capital of Mauritius, Port Louis, with time for a visit to the colourful market. For information:

Quad-biking Safari in the "Casela" animal reserve

Ride a 400 cc quad-bike through the Casela reserve, with its deer, zebras and ostriches, and enjoy breathtaking views over the Indian Ocean and the surrounding plantations.

Tailor-made excursions

To satisfy your curiosity and discover the most unusual and little-known sites, hire a yacht or private car with chauffeur; enjoy a helicopter flight or sunset cruise. Depending on the season, you can watch horse racing or visit the Medine sugar estate and its distillery. The team at our Excursion desk will be happy to give you any information and advice you need.

The Tea Route (1 day)

The Bois Chéri tea plantation, with its factory, museum and tasting of 6 teas, is a fabulous days visit. The Vanilla Crocodile park has giant turtles, crocodiles, iguanas and a wonderful collection of butterflies from around the world. Lunch at Domaine St Aubin, a vanilla plantation and distillery. Beaches

In a beautifully natural, wooded setting, two beaches protected by a coral reef.

A white coral sand beach, 300 metres from the centre of the Resort, with gently sloping access into the water. Easily accessible via a little footbridge over the Belle Eau River. Defined swimming area Equipped with teak deck chairs and parasols.

The second beach, immediately accessible from the Resort, is also a fine, white coral sand beach. The first metres of access to the water are sand and rocks. The beach is equipped with teak deckchairs and parasols.

Parks and Gardens
