Le Pays Mélés

Surrounded by coconut palms in the centre of the Resort, a great buffet restaurant for tasting cuisine from around the world with friends. The terrace has a magnificent view over the beach and sea.

Lô

This restaurant/ bar right on the waters edge, by the beach, is open all day and evening. It serves light lunches, with salads and grilled meats, and delicious Asian/West Indian fusion cuisine in the evenings.

Bars:

Available all day and evening (during bar opening hours) in all the bars in the Resort (including the nightclub). Drinks included(served by the glass and in the bars only) : Water, fruit juices, sodas, hot drinks, cocktails with and without alcohol, local and/or international spirits, wines. Sweet and savoury snacks

Drinks not included Champagne, VSOP and XO spirits, bottled and canned drinks (available in certain Resorts from vending machines and/or the Club Med boutique®), certain super-premium brands and bottled wines proposed à la carte in some of our restaurants and bars.

A guided tour to discover the history and culture of Martinique. Visit the famous Anse Latouche botanic gardens followed by a crayfish lunch at the Auberge de la Montagne Pelée, at the foot of the Montagne Pelée. For information:

Nord Tropical (visit plantations etc in the north of the island - 1 day)

Explore the heart of Martinique on a guided tour that will take you through banana and sugar plantations. Enjoy the cooling experience of fording a small river, before stopping for a local lunch in a restaurant typical of the north of the island. Visit of the Rum Museum. For your information:

Sailing to St Lucia (1 day)

A cruise to St Lucia. Calling at Marigot Bay where you'll have a chance to swim in the sea. Lunch in a typical island restaurant. Visit to the capital, Castries, and its local market. For information

St Pierre (1/2 day)

Set off towards the Gardens of Balata, through the tropical forest. Visit the centre of Saint Pierre, on the Caribbean coast, and the museum devoted to the 1902 eruption. Return by the coast road.

Yole (initiation, 2 hours)

Learn the rudiments of how to row a yole from a local champion, and enjoy a 2-hour outing, followed by a tasting session (local punch and cakes. Leave from the Club Med beach.

Getting to the Resort

For customers who have not bought the transport package. Climate

The best period to go to the West Indies is from December to May. Temperatures are very pleasant; not too hot with lots of sun and occasional thundery showers. The rainy season lasts from mid-July to November. October is the most humid month, showers are fierce and spectacular but do not last long. Temperature of the sea : Water in the West Indies is good for swimming the whole year round. The temperature can reach 28°C (82,4 °F) from July to October and does not fall under 26°C (78,8 °F) during the dry season.

Have a taste of everything Resort. Between Les Anses d’Arlets and La Pointe des Salines, in the south-west of Martinique, the Club Med Resort of Les Boucaniers will inspire all visitors by the magical beauty of the site. Beach

The public beach is long and narrow, it stretches over 1 km (700 yards) of white sand. It is the most beautiful beach on the island, with shallow waters close to the beach and a sandy floor. The beach is equipped with deckchairs.
