BABY CORNER special service

This Baby Zone, in the Resorts buffet restaurant, offers a special service for babies, with sweet and savoury baby foods and all the equipment for preparing your babys meals.

Airlie beach (1 day)

Leave by boat to visit Airlie Beach, with its shops, cafes and restaurants. Free time for shopping and a swim in a lagoon.

Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach by helicopter (1 hour)

See the best the Whitsundays have to offer. Fly over the Great Barrier Reef in a helicopter for one hour, with a magnificent view over Heart Reef, Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet.

Hamilton Island by boat (1 day)

Take a buggy (at extra cost) to explore one of the finest Whitsunday islands, with its spectacular villas and shops. Free time for shopping.

Picnic on the island

Escape to one of the remote, desert islands neighbouring Lindeman Island. Youll prepare a picnic basket filled with savoury treats to tantalize your taste buds, and a selection of drinks to quench your thirst throughout the day. After lunch youll have plenty of time to explore the island and the pleasures of an afternoon at the beach.

The Great Barrier Reef (à la carte)

Visit one of the Seven natural Wonders of the World, Whitsundays Great Barrier Reef! Travel aboard Fantaseas big air-conditioned catamaran heading to Reefworld at the magnificent Hardy Reef. Your day will include snorkelling amidst thousands of colourful reef fish, travel in a semi-submersible submarine and a visit to the submarine observatory. An unforgettable day for all the family at Reefworld. For information:

Whitehaven Beach - Two Islands Cruise (1 day)

Shops, bars, cafes and the beautiful Koala Gallery can all be explored on your very own personal buggy (at extra cost)! After an exciting morning, youll reboard the boat that will take you to the unspoilt paradise of Whitehaven beach.

Getting to the Resort

For clients who have not bought the transport package. Airport / Resort, transfer by boat. Airport on Hamilton Island, 17 kms (10 miles) from the Resort. Transfer takes around 30 minutes.* Price : Summer 2007 (prices given as an indication, subject to exchange rate) One-way: 70 EUR

Airport located on Hamilton Island, 17 km from the Village. Transfer to the Village is by boat. The transfer service is run by Club Med (G.Ms)

“Have a taste of everything” Resort. From the Resort of Lindeman Coral Reef on the north east coast of Australia, near the world’s largest coral reef, you have a magical view over the turquoise blue lagoon and white sand oasis. The island has magnificent plant and animal life, and the Resort is the perfect venue for families with young children. After a brisk start to the morning sailing on a catamaran, you may choose to spend the afternoon on the superb 9-hole golf course overlooking the sea. Walkers can take advantage of the fabulous natural park just a stone’s throw from the ocean. Come evening time, you’re likely to be ready for a relaxing massage, before enjoying a well-earned dinner in the buffet restaurant.

The beach is a 250 yard stretch of coarse sand. The sea floor comprises essentially sand, coral and a few rocks. Large tidal variations: the sea can recede up to 4 kms (2.5 miles). Defined bathing area. The beach is equipped with deckchairs and showers

Located at the heart of the National Park, the vegetation is varied and lush, with flamboyant trees, hibiscus and numerous species of flowers.
