This Club Med Resort is dedicated to golf enthusiasts: putting green, training bunker, 9-hole pitch and putt and specialist G.O®s offering group lessons tailored for all levels. Every golfer has their own set of skills and the international Golf Academy offers a personalised tuition. Our professional instructors concentrate on players assets without trying to force a rigid methode through. You will progress at your own pace and in a relaxed atmosphere. To help you hone your swing, we use visual and sensorial techniques and each trainee with have an opportunity to analyse their moves on video. Two professional golfers run the Academy and will help you improve your style from the tee to the green.

Beach and snorkelling (1/2 day)

Explore the ocean shore and discover the wonders of nature, snorkelling in an artificial lagoon and walking along Peanut Island beach. Snorkellers will meet a whole variety of fish at close quarters. For history enthusiasts, the Palm Beach maritime museum and the Kennedy Bomb Shelter will take you back in time. A guide will accompany you throughout the trip.

Billie Swamp Safari in the Everglades (1 day)

The Big Cypress reservation offers would-be explorers over 800 hectares of wild country. Take a trek on a swamp buggy and discover the Sam Jones path. Keep your eyes open for deer, boars, alligators and buffalo. You may prefer a more gentle exploration of the Everglades in a canoe, or a visit to a reconstruction of a Seminole Indian camp, to discover their fascinating culture and lifestyle. You can also spend a few hours gliding through the Everglades at top speed on an airboat, past crocodiles and fabulous wild country.

Chaise Lounge boat trip (à la carte)

Lie back and enjoy the peaceful sound of the waves as you set off to explore the river in a comfy Chaise Lounge boat. Enjoy all the scenes and sounds of the Club Med in tranquillity as you glide slowly through the water in the gentle breeze, powered by the boats 12-volt engine.

Fun Boat (à la carte)

Each boat is equipped with a water cannon and a 12-volt power system - ideal for a naval battle between friends or enemies. Perfect for young and old. Two people per boat. A really safe way to have fun. Passengers must wear the life jackets supplied.

Guided jet ski tour (2 hours)

Enjoy a thrilling trip on the St Lucie River on board our sensational Yamaha VX110 Sport Waverunner jet ski. Our guide will take you down the river on a memorable trip that few tourists have a chance to do. The Weve Runner is safe and easy to handle.

Guided Triumph Sport boat tour (2 hours)

Our guide will take you along the river for an unforgettable journey that few tourists get to do. The boat is extremely safe and easy to handle.

Guided Wildlife Sunset Cruise (1 hour 30 minutes)

After a refreshing drink at the Sandbar, try this excursion down the St Lucie River, 19th century style, on board a genuine Mississippi steamer. As the boat steams gently down the river, look out for great egrets, reef egrets, wood stork and ibis. And then, depending on the season, you may be lucky enough to see manatees, river otters and even dolphins.

High seas fishing (1/2 day)

Spotted rose snapper, yellowtail, mutton snapper, rockfish, dogtooth grouper, dusky grouper, barracuda and shark. Venture out into the deep blue ocean on a fishing boat from the Blue Heron Fishing Fleet, for a fishing adventure in world famous waters.

Kayak Nature Tour (2 hours)

Drift nonchalantly down the St Lucie River on a kayak tour during which your personal guide will show you some of the complexity and fascinating aspects of the natural environment.

Kennedy Space Center (1 day)

Your holiday in Florida just wouldnt be complete without a trip to the Kennedy Space Center, the only place in the world where you can visit the launchpad, meet an astronaut, encounter the giant space shuttles, try out a flight simulator and even watch a launch.

Orlando theme parks (1 day)

If you travel to Florida, you cant miss Orlando. Take your children to one of the largest theme parks in the world: Disneys Magic Kingdom, Universal Studio, Epcot, Sea World and many more. This is the realm of youth and imagination!

Shopping at Gardens Mall (1/2 day)

The Gardens Mall offers 1.4 million ft² of pure joy to window shoppers. Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Macys and Nordstroms are just a few of the stores youll find in this world-famous destination, always a favourite with Club Med visitors.

Enjoy your passion for sports Resort. About 2 hours north of Miami, on the east coast of Florida, the Sandpiper Resort stretches along the St. Lucie river and its lush vegetation. Competitive spirit is a natural asset in Florida, and sport is one of life’s great pleasures. You can play tennis and golf to your heart’s content, with instructors on hand to ensure you make good progress. Ideal for families, with its three swimming pools and seven buildings that all provide the high standards of comfort for which America is renowned.

Sandpiper proposes leisure activities for all ages.

Beach

Swimming in the river The Resort’s private beach stretches for 120 yards along the St Lucie River. It is equipped with deckchairs.

Swimming in the sea (taxi to the beach) Long stretch of public beach with medium-grain, darkish sand, about 20 minutes from the Resort. The sea is often rough, the waves are big. No deckchairs or parasols.

Parks and Gardens

Gardens consisting mainly of palm trees, laurel trees and bougainvillea, in a vast expanse of greenery. You may also encounter peacocks or other bird species, and squirrels!
