Juniors' Club Med® (from 11 to under 18 years old) Included in your package

This is a Club Med classic for teenagers, who are divided into two age ranges. Teenagers, independence and festivities. Club Med offers everything and imposes nothing. A free and exclusive mindset that delights the young. Juniors' Club Med® allows teenagers to get together to take part in whatever activities they feel like trying and participate in the life of the Village. Offered only during school holidays, six days a week. Service is included in package price.

Open 24 hours a day, it contains the necessary facilities for preparing meals: blender, steriliser (provided on request only), microwave, refrigerator, bottle warmer (provided automatically in the room for G.Ms® who book a Baby Club Med® or Club Med Baby Welcome® service), and supplementary products such as mineral water, fruit, UHT full-cream and semi-skimmed milk (baby milk is not provided).

Discovery

The Discovery Centre offers a variety of excursions to discover the country. The program of the excursions and the prices are given for information only. Agriates desert (1/2 day)

Taking a pretty, winding route through the mountains, you will arrive at a rocky track that will take you through the Agriates desert to the famous white-sand beach of Saleccia, one of the island's most beautiful. For your information

Bastia and Cap Corse (1 day)

You will go through the interior of the island to Bastia to visit the town and have lunch. Then you will be going up along Cap Corse, a mixture of fishing villages and hamlets perched up high (Erbalunga, Santa Severa, Nonza...). You will discover the coastline dotted with Genoese towers. A stop in Patrimonio for a wine tasting. Then you will visit Saint Florent, before crossing the Désert des Agriates with its glorious scenery (rocks, maquis, views overlooking Cap Corse and the coast...) For your information

Circuit of Maquis Les 5 Merveilles (1 day)

Discover the Corsican interior via the Scala di Santa Regina, the forest of Aïtone and the Spelunca gorges before reaching Porto for lunch (included). After a short walk in the Calanches de Piana, you will return along the coast, admiring the sumptuous landscapes. For your information

Corte and La Restonica (1 day)

After a visit to Corte, a town perched on a rocky outcrop in the centre of a ring of mountains, Corsica's geographical heart, you will discover the valley of the pretty Restonica river, which falls through deep gorges and forms a series of natural pools of clear water tempting you to swim. The route ends at the starting point of a number of walking paths. For your information

Fango and Marsulino (1/2 day)

After Calvi, you will take the coastal route via Notre Dame de la Serra, the Chateau du Prince Pierre and the Argentella former silver mine. You will then arrive at the Fango river for a swim in the waterholes, before returning through the Marsulino, land of shepherds. For your information

The Old Villages of Balagne (1/ day)

Along the wine route, you will discover all the old unspoilt villages of Balagne with their charm of a bygone age. Along the way a visit is planned to an oil mill in Lunghignano. Free time in Ile Rousse. For your information

The Scandola nature reserve (1/2 day)

During this 3-hour cruise, you will discover a wild and rocky region on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Between Galena and Girolata, the coast shelters the Scandola reserve where fauna and flora are carefully protected. On your return, free time in Calvi. For your information

Climate

The Corsican climate is Mediterranean. Average year-round temperatre is 12°C (53°F) from North to South. The minimum average rarely goes below zero in winter while the average maximum can reach 18° (64°F) on the coast, nevertheless nights can be a bit chilly especially during the spring season. In the middle of summer, the coast has seen temperatures as high as 23° (73°F) to 26°C (79°F), at the same time at 1000 m (3280ft) of altitude temps can range from 8°C to 26°C (46°F to 79°F). The winds which come from the four corners of the world and carry the names of the Orient: "Libecciu," "Mistral," "Tramontane," "Levante," "Sirocco," and "Grecale" - drift over the island in a normally pleasant way but can, from time to time, roar in wild gales.

Village Information

"Have a taste of everything" Resort

Have a taste of everything Resort. As if suspended halfway between sea and sky amid the calm of the maquis scrubland humming with cicadas, lies an estate overhanging a rocky headland surrounded by clear water: welcome to Sant’Ambroggio. The coastline between Calvi and Ile Rousse is littered with inlets like pearls along a necklace of beaches. The hinterland is full of Corsican treasures, making this a hiking as well as a sailing paradise, but you can also choose to spend your days at a lazier pace, comfortably installed on one of the solarium deckchairs at the sea’s edge or by the pool, surrounded by a hedge of umbrella pines.

Beach

The beach is open to all, and stretches along some 80 metres of coastline, just down from the Resort.

The Resort is in a unique setting between the mountains and the sea. The gardens are planted with laurel trees, mimosa, roses, pine trees, acacia and numerous perennial plants.
