BABY CORNER special service

This baby corner, in the Resort's main buffet restaurant, proposes sweet and savoury baby foods and the equipment necessary for preparing babies' meals.

Available all day and evening during opening hours in all the bars in our Resorts.

Our Resort welcomes children of all ages, with children’s club facilities for the various age groups, run by professionals.

Baby Club Med® (from 4 months to under 2)

Optional Extra*

You can leave your babies with our team of specialist GO®s in the knowledge that they couldn't be in better hands. This space is dedicated specially to their needs, with pastel coloured bubbles depicting underwater plants and animals, such as emperor fish, sea horses and Red Sea coral. A personal welcome and, after a family breakfast, early learning activities, meals, rest time and cuddles. The Baby Club Med programme takes a gentle approach which respects each child's biological clock, giving you complete peace of mind. Educational activities, walks and a nap before playing outdoor games. And of course, teatime is a very important moment in the day. The Baby Restaurant is open from 6.30 pm for babies and parents to have dinner together.

The adult accompanying the child must be able to show that he or she meets the minimum vaccination requirements for children (child health record or medical certificate). For the Baby Club Med® the minimum requirement is the first diphtheria / tetanus / polio jab. Nappies and baby milk are not provided by Baby Club Med®.

Petit Club Med® (from 2 to under 4)

At this age, they're no longer babies, but they still need close supervision Shades of ochre and moving sands are the inspiration behind the decor of this children's space. Different themes for the various age groups: a sunny ride through the Sinaï Desert for 2-year olds, and from age 3, the shadows of the palm trees and the city seen by a famous Egyptian queen. It's the age of first discoveries, so the Petit Club Med proposes early learning activities, walks and outdoor games; a well-balanced lunch devised specially for the needs of growing children followed by a nap or quiet time, creative activities, and of course tea time, always a favourite moment of the day! The activities follow the children's progress, divided into age groups. From 7.30 pm, after dinner with their parents, they go back to the Petit Club Med®. While parents enjoy a quiet dinner, the children can enjoy their own evening with their friends.

Mini Club Med® (from 4 to under 11)

Creativity and energy. At this age, children have a thirst for everything. The Mini Club Med®’s vocation is to satisfy their boundless energy and curiosity. Activities include sport, games and creative activities. Children are divided into age groups. In this space dedicated to children's needs, the decor is inspired by Egyptian culture: a tent and the spice market for the 4/5 year olds. For 6/7 year olds, the walls depict Bedouins on their way back from the market, in the brightly coloured canyon, and for the older children, the atmosphere of the Island of Salah El Din, south of Taba.

Club Med Passworld® (from 11 to under 18)

Proposed during the school holidays, there are no obligations at the Club Med Passworld®, a spirit teenagers adore. It gives them their own exclusive area where they can meet and get involved in all sorts of activities, in the heart of the Resort. The exclusive area in this Resort is "The Reef", an invitation to explore the depths of the Red Sea, with its coral and algae, fish and treasure troves mingling in an amusing and creatively contemporary decor. And a huge terrace overlooking the pool enables youngsters to see without being seen. They can use it to discover creative, sports and artistic activities, or just for the pleasure of being with their friends. Participants are divided into two age-groups.

Abu Galum (1 day)

Recommended by our Excursions desk. Ras Abu Galum is a magnificent national park where you can enjoy the luxury of fish swimming at your feet! The contrast with the stoney desert, as you drive through this arid panorama in a 4x4, enhances the fabulous blues of the sea to the height of perfection. Snorkelling, followed by lunch with a Bedouin family to savour local cusisine and hospitality. Camel ride or walk through the park. For information:

Boutre ride (traditional sailing boat (1 day)

On board an authentic replica of a traditional Red Sea boutre, discover these fabulous waters and their wealth of underwater life. Snorkelling in crystal clear waters and barbecue. 2-hour trips possible, to see the sunset. For information:

Glass bottom boat (2 hours)

Admire the unique sea gardens of the Red Sea, with their fabulous underwater life, reputed to be the finest in the world.

Mount Sinai and St Catherine's Monastery** (1 and a half days)

Late evening departure for Mount Sinai, where tradition has it that Moses received the 10 commandments from God. You'll climb up a narrow path used by the nomads, to experience the magnificent sunrise from the summit. An unforgettable moment, amid the throng of pilgrims from all over the world. Back down the mountain to visit St Catherine's Monastery**. Close to the Basilica and the memorial of the Burning Bush, the convent's fortifications, that encompass a whole array of religious buildings, stand at an elevation of 1,570 metres. For information:

Petra** - Jordan (1 day)

Recommended by our Excursions desk. One of the wonders of the world, Petra** is famous for its spectacular beauty and fascinating history. Guided tour of Petra's most famous sites; discover the history, myths and legends, of the pink and red city. A journey back in time, as colourful as the rocks in which it was sculpted. Quad riding in the desert

The rocky canyons overhanging the Gulf of Taba are superbly mysterious and inaccessibe: discover the secret life of these age-old mountains. A great opportunity to get off the beaten track and meet the local people.

St Catherine's **(1 day)

Recommended by our Excursions desk. St Catherine's Monastery** in the spectacular Sinai mountains is one of the foremost historic and religious sites in the world. Standing at the foot of Mount Moses from the 6th century AD, the monastery is still home to a community of monks. You'll visit the Basilic, where the narthex houses exceptional works of art (icones and illuminated manuscripts). Visit to the Chapel of the Burning Bush and the Justinian wall. For information:

The Coloured Canyon (1/2 day)

As you venture between these amazing stone walls, you'll enter a timeless zone where rare animals and magical rock formations create an enchanting universe. The Coloured Canyon is a superb kaleidoscope of sandstone painted by mother nature. For information:

The Wadi Rum Desert and Petra** - Jordan (2 days)

Wadi Rum is also known as the "Valley of the Moon". One of the most beautiful sites in Jordan, the valley was on the path of successive waves of Semite invaders. This magical spot is also associated with the exploits of Lawrence of Arabia during the First World War. Exploration of the spectacular environment in a 4x4. Lunch of local delicacies in a Bedouin camp. In the afternoon, you'll be driven to Wadi Musa where you'll spend the night in a 5 star hotel. Early start the next morning for a guided tour of Petra**: we'll approach the capital of the Nabatean kingdom via the narrow Siq pass surrounded by lofty cliffs. This nomadic people, who no doubt came from the southern reaches of Arabia, built themselves an indepenent kingdom stretching from Hegra in Arabia to Bosra in Syria. Journey to Aqaba by bus and a rapid tour of the town, then on to the modern marina at Tala Bay. For information:
