NOTE : This Village is not recommanded to people allergic to wasp bites. * Medical assistance in the Village : - Infirmary : * Open everyday * Located inside the Village * Two nurses and one doctor/ physician are present * Medical examinations on request (payment in local currency) - First-aid kits: * available in different departments of the Village * Medical assistance outside the Club (with extra cost) : - In Cap Skirring: pharmacies - In Dakar: specialist practitioners * Recommended vaccinations : - Diphtheria - Tetanus - Polio - Typhoid - Hepatitis A and B * Vaccination against yellow fever is compulsory (even without an obligation from the local authorities). The vaccination is valid for ten years and can be done at least ten days before the departure. * Vaccinations against Meningitis (A+C) is recommended - please ask for information before your departure. * Malaria : endemic region in its major form falciparum - strict preventive measures are necessary. Some parasitic diseases can be transmitted by mosquitos. The use of skin and clothing insect repellents is recommended. * Cholera is endemic in Senegal. Vulnerable people are the natives who live in poor health conditions. These are the preventive measures: regularly wash your hands with cleansed or clean water.
